Welcome to the Church of the Ascension

We are a friendly, welcoming, inclusive church in the heart of Wall Heath.

Our services are fun and Spirit filled and we definitely like to sing!
Our services are:
Sunday - 10am on 1st and 3rd Sunday each month - Morning Prayer followed by refreshments
10am on 2nd and 4th Sunday each month - Eucharist with hymns and songs followed by refreshments

Wednesday - 10am every week - Eucharist with hymns and songs followed by refreshments

Thursdays during term time - 10am -11.30am Mainly Music for pre school babies and toddlers and their parents/carers
singing (with bubbles!), chatting, playing, eating £3 per family.

The Church of the Ascension is an Anglican church within the diocese of Worcester and was founded in 1892, at that time as a mission church.
It is part of St Mary's Kingswinford Team Ministry, and regularly takes part in activities with the other denominations in the area.

It has strong connections with the Church of the Ascension primary school just across from the church.
