1.Citizens advice has enormous amounts of information on it. You should be able
   to get the government assistance announced recently for furloughed employees if:

     • you were on payroll on February 28th and PAYE
     • your employer claims on your behalf. They should send you a letter telling
        you they have done that. Ask for something in writing from your employer
        to tell you that they have claimed and that they will pass it to you having
        deducted tax and national insurance.

2. If you don’t qualify for any other benefits (e.g. new ESA) then you must claim
    universal credit. You don’t have to visit the social services office, you can claim
    online at the universal credit link below:
